A 1200kg hammerhead shark caught off the NSW coast could become a tourist attraction.
The Northern star reports the 5m beast has been sold to a shark museum in Hervey Bay which is run by renowned shark hunter Vic Hislop.

Mr Hislop rejects reports he paid $13,000 for the monster.
He has also today refused media to see the shark.
"I haven't decided yet what I'm going to do with it," he told The Northern Star.
"I'm going to keep it frozen for now."
